Salon Sen makes you feel special from the moment you walk in the door. Since moving back to Chicago about a year and a half ago, I have been going to different salons trying to find a stylist who knew how to give a precision cut for fine, silky straight hair. A simple bob. Well, it has taken this long, but Daniel delivered! AND, he was pleasant and ensured my complete experience at Salon Sen was worth the wait. Thank you so much Daniel and Salon Sen! Finally! Finally! I have a place to go for a great precision cut!

I’ve lost count how many years Julie has been my stylist: It’s well past a decade at this point. I followed her from her former gig when she opened Salon Sen, I moved to the burbs but still trek into the city so she can cut and color my hair. I trust her judgment when I’m ready to try something new and she has never failed at helping me look fantastic. When she was gone on maternity leave and handed me off to her other stylists, each of them were also incredible. She and Alex have done such a great job hiring such talent! She listened and gave me a very professional haircut. I also received a wonder scalp massage and hand massage. Paige and the entire staff are great! I feel wonderful!

I\'m impressed. Working with Alex was enjoyable, but most importantly my hair looks incredible. I barely spent anytime in the chair, and yet... I dare say, after washing it yesterday, that this is my best haircut possibly ever. My curls are ALIVE! Gone are the days where your hair looks incredible at the salon and sub-par at home. My only critique is that whatever was used on my hair couldn\'t reign in my frizz. A quick wash at home with curl creme saved the day though and I\'m on cloud nine with my hair right now. 😍

I chose this salon at random based on the reviews and location. I’m glad I did. My first visit with Stephanie was a couple of weeks ago. We discussed my receding hairline and what cut would work with my hair. Losing your hair sucks, especially when it’s unexpected. Stephanie was very thoughtful - she asked questions and made sure I was comfortable with what she was doing because I was losing about 4” length. It was such a great haircut, I decided to trust her with color. What? Color? Random salon? Yup. I got my color yesterday. It’s not for everyone but she gave me exactly what I wanted. A terrific blonde balayage with green ends. I absolutely love it and it will grow out nicely. I’m so glad I stumbled onto this place. It’s expensive tbh but totally worth it. Highly recommend.

Wigs For Kids! And returned to my wedding cut. Win-win. It’s been 2.5 years since scissors touched the mane. Our kids spent their first 3 months in the NICU, so extra soft spot for kiddos going through s*** … happy to help out. Found Salon SEN through the Wigs For Kids website. I’ve historically been a barber shop guy, but sometimes change is good. Showed Julie a pic of my wedding cut and transformation complete. Ladies, I now understand emotional attachment to hair. Fellas, I could have taken a nap here I was so relaxed. Experience was beyond worth it. Treat yourself.

Today was my first visit to Salon SEN, and it was wonderful! The salon itself is beautiful, sparkling clean, and comfortable, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Alex was friendly, attentive and really listened to my questions and concerns before he began. As several other reviewers have mentioned, the hand/arm massage was such an indulgent treat. I left the salon feeling very pampered, and with a beautiful new \"do\"! Thank you Alex :-)

Stephanie did a fantastic job with my cut. Was very cautious around my reseeding hairline and actually made it look better. Also provided an amazing scalp massage and facial. Highly recommend her, from a male’s perspective; though I’m sure she’s just as top-notch on the womens side.

Enjoyed my haircut with Lauren at Salon Sen! Relaxing way to end the day -- didn\'t realize how tired and stressed I was until Lauren started my appointment off with the head massage (LOVED IT). I used to regularly see Chaz before, and I really liked his services too (I just happened to try Lauren out when he was out due to an arm injury and I also loved her). Thank you for making my hair look alive again!

My stylist couldn’t make it at the appointment time so they offered many options. When he was able to return to work salon Sen called and worked out a better time for both of us that day. Wonderful, kind , great work in my hair!

The stylist did a great job in my first visit with her, Which was definitely a positive. However, my other stylist recently left the Salon and I was told that I would get some sort of discount for my inconvenience, I don’t think that discount was applied to my bill. I didn’t want to bring it up with the front desk person because I didn’t know the details of the discount. Other than that the service was very good.

Steph was my stylist and she touched up my roots, and I couldn\'t be happier. I have a ton of gray and don\'t want to alllways get my full hair of head dyed. So we alternate my visits with root touchups and highlights etc. My visit was quick and seamless, and I feel \"back to normal!\" The team always makes me feel beautiful when I get my hair done at Salon Sen. My hair looks so natural when it\'s done, and they use Aveda products, which I love. Can\'t wait to visit again soon!

As per usual, Stephanie Glogovsky was delightful. Not to mention she made me the handsomest man in Cook County. What a joy! Now I\'m off to merrymaking with my sharp as glass haircut!

My experiences have all been great! I get cut and color, and even during shutdown with pandemic they provided me with my color to do at home! They accomidate my appt changes. Wait on you for your coat and coffee,tea, water. And its all Aveda, Stephanie is an excellant designer and colorist, who is so great she makes me look better than i do, giving me a lot of attention in my love life!!❤🦋🥂

Lauren has been cutting my hair for over 3 years now. I came from an all male salon and am usually pretty particular about how it looks, mostly because there’s not a lot up there. She does a great job! Always warm and inviting, a good pretend therapist, as well as a kind person. I enjoy SalonSen and would happily recommend it to anyone in search of a new place to get a premium cut.
